About
In the early 90s, I came under care of the Atlantic Presbytery of the RPCNA as a student of ministry. While others identified gifts in me for the ministry, I was not certain that this was the Lord’s calling for my life . I changed direction and, like my father before me, pursued a career in software development. While working as a consultant in San Antonio, I was elected as an elder for an independent Reformed congregation in Boerne, TX. Previously, I was also licensed to preach by the session of this church. When our pastor retired, the congregation asked me to continue as their stated pulpit supply. I also began a counseling ministry which included premarital counseling for four couples. I held a Bible study for the youth in the church and taught from the Westminster Confession of Faith for Sabbath School. After a few years my desire for full-time ministry had grown, and so I decided to pursue Seminary. This past year I have served as a counselor at Western PA Adult & Teen Challenge, a faith-based, residential treatment center for men who struggle with addiction. I am blessed with my wife of over 23 years and our six children. We currently live in a wooded part of Northeast Ohio.
