About
John grew up in the Southern Baptist church and came to a conviction of Reformed beliefs in college. While working on his Master’s degree in Voice Performance as an operatic tenor, he and his now-wife Elizabeth reconnected over Facebook. They were married in Bloomington Reformed Presbyterian Church in 2017. In 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024, God blessed their family with three beautiful daughters and one son.
John taught Music at Seven Oaks Classical School in Ellettsville, Indiana for six years and served as the Music Master Teacher for Hillsdale College’s K-12 Education Office for four years, where he published and edited several volumes on music history and pedagogy and was a frequent conference speaker and instructor for national cohorts.
