About
Hello. I am Ed Blackwood. I have served at RPTS since February 2006. My roles at RPTS are Director of Admissions (I like to say, Edmissions!), Director of Student Services, Registrar, and Adjunct Faculty.
The Lord drew me to Himself at an early age and sustains me in Christ each day. I have been married to Nancy Blackwood since 24 December 1984. We have 6 married children, all walking with the Lord, by His grace. We have, as of July 2022, 19 grandchildren.
I have served in 3 pastorates. Church Planting in Evansville, Indiana 1991-2000; McKinnon Reformed Presbyterian Church of Australia, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 2006-2008; then Frankston RPCA, Frankston, Victoria, Aus 2008-2015, where I gained an Australian hat and citizenship, but no accent.
I also have 20 years of experience in the IT industry, some of it during bi-vocational pastoral ministry.
